How to Add a Customisation to a Product

Product customisations allow customers to provide additional information or select options at the point of purchase (e.g. personalised text, or a dropdown to choose an engraving style).

1. Open the product in edit mode (see How to Update a Product).
2. In the Properties section, toggle on Is this customisable?
3. A customisations table will appear. Click Add Customisation.
4. For each customisation, configure:
   • Name - the label shown to the customer (e.g. "Personalisation Text").
   • Type - choose one of the following:
     • Text - a single-line free-text input field for the customer.
     • Text Area - a multi-line free-text input field, suited for longer messages.
     • Image - allows the customer to upload an image file as part of their order.
     • Select - a dropdown with predefined options. Enter each option value and arrange their order.
   • Price Change - enter a positive or negative amount if this customisation affects the product price.
5. To reorder customisations, drag and drop them using the handle on the left of each row.
6. Click Save when done.
