How to Create a Variable Product

A variable product has multiple variations — for example, a T-shirt available in different sizes or colours.

1. Navigate to Products and click Create Product.
2. Complete the Details and Images sections as you would for a simple product.
3. In the Properties section, set the Product Type to Variable. Note: the base price field will be disabled - pricing is set per variation.
4. In the Attributes section, add one or more attributes:
   • Enter an Attribute Name (e.g. "Size").
   • Enter the Options as a comma-separated list (e.g. "Small, Medium, Large").
   • Repeat for additional attributes (e.g. "Colour: Red, Blue, Green").
5. Click Generate Variations to automatically create all possible combinations.
6. For each variation, set:
   • Price
   • SKU (optional)
   • Stock Quantity
   • Stock Status
7. Complete the remaining sections (Shipping, Categories, Storefronts, etc.) and click Save.
