What Are Product Variations?

Variations are the individual purchasable versions of a variable product - each one representing a unique combination of attribute options. For example, if a product has Size (S, M) and Colour (Red, Blue) attributes, the variations would be:

• Small / Red
• Small / Blue
• Medium / Red
• Medium / Blue

Each variation can have its own:

• Price
• SKU
• Stock Quantity
• Stock Status

Variations are generated automatically when you click Generate Variations after setting up your attributes.
