How Does Shipping Work for Digital / Link-Based Orders?

For orders using the Create a Link delivery method, recipients do not provide a physical address during checkout, so address-based zone matching cannot be used.

In this case, a flat shipping rate is applied instead. The system will use a shipping rule that matches the cart value without considering location or postcode.

No additional configuration is needed for this - the same shipping rules apply, but the zone targeting is skipped and only the pricing bands are used to calculate the cost.
