What Is a Shipping Zone?

A shipping zone defines the geographic area that a shipping rule covers. Each zone is attached to a shipping rule and is made up of:

• Location - the country or region this zone applies to (required).
• State Code - optionally narrow the zone to a specific state or province (e.g. NSW, VIC). Leave blank to apply to all states within the location.
• Postcodes - optionally narrow the zone further to specific postcodes. Leave blank to apply to all postcodes within the location/state.

A single shipping rule can have multiple zones, allowing you to apply the same pricing bands to several different geographic areas.
